Slow Cooker Meatballs

Here’s a go to dish that’s easy to prepare in the morning (or night before) and ready to eat when you get back home. The best thing about this dish is that there’s so many uses for the meatballs (if you have any left over). Try them with pasta and spaghetti sauce, in a meatball sub or chopped onto a pizza. They are also an easy put together appie for when you have company coming over. Break out the crock pot for our slow cooker meatballs!!


2lbs lean ground beef slow cooker meatballs

1 & 1/3 cup ketchup

3 Tbsp  seasoned breadcrumbs

1 beaten egg

1 Tbsp dried onion flakes

3/4 tsp garlic salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1/2 cup brown sugar

6 oz tomato paste

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. In a bowl mix ground beef, 1/3 cup ketchup, onion flakes, breadcrumbs, garlic salt and pepper. Shape into meatballs around 1 inch in size
  3. Place meatballs on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until browned. Then transfer to slow cooker
  4. Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl
  5. Pour sauce over meatballs. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours
